About Me

After 23 years of living and working in Ithaca, NY, I relocated in the fall of 2022 with my husband and our 3 dogs to a small mountain town outside of Asheville, NC.  The change has been enlivening and I very much appreciate the blue skies above and the mountains all around.

In addition to the very rewarding clinical work I do, I also do lots of volunteer work in dog rescue.  In 2005 I co-founded Cayuga Dog Rescue, an Ithaca-area, all-volunteer, nonprofit dog rescue organization, and have been CDR’s volunteer director since.  Changing locations has not changed my dual focus-- I very happily am continuing my clinical work with the Cornell/Ithaca community and running Cayuga Dog Rescue.

In my free time, I love to walk with my dogs, hike, read, practice Zen meditation, and go adventuring with my husband, friends, our dogs, and on my own.
